Thinking it Together
That's the thing about time,
it never is.
By the time you realize that
it is, in fact, time
it's time past.
And maybe in a world without friction
our molecules would move faster,
and perhaps we'd always know
when it was time.
But I prefer the warmth of friction,
the endless grind of differences and
similarities that warm our bodies
as we draw ourselves forever closer
to the compromise of nothing and
everything, so that maybe
in one moment of our lives we may be
frictionless.
it never is.
By the time you realize that
it is, in fact, time
it's time past.
And maybe in a world without friction
our molecules would move faster,
and perhaps we'd always know
when it was time.
But I prefer the warmth of friction,
the endless grind of differences and
similarities that warm our bodies
as we draw ourselves forever closer
to the compromise of nothing and
everything, so that maybe
in one moment of our lives we may be
frictionless.
